Long Island Optometry Care offers comprehensive eye care services in all settings, both in home as well as in assisted living facilities and nursing homes. For patients that are home-bound or in a facility, we provide complete evaluations with the latest portable equipment. We are comfortable treating anyone, from those with special needs to the elderly.
Long Island Optometry Care provides optometry services for the elderly and other adults with complex health issues who have difficulty getting out to the doctor’s office. We offer many mobile services including eye exams, glasses, diabetic retinal exams, dilated fundus exams, and IOP (Intraocular Pressure) checks for glaucoma. Our care teams are based in the heart of the communities that we serve. We are dedicated to providing home-bound patients with high quality, personalized and confidential eye care.
About Dr. Brian Ludwig
Dr. Brian Ludwig completed his Bachelors in Biology at Stony Brook University and his Doctorate in Optometry at New England College of Optometry. He is TPA certified and the primary eye care practitioner for a number of skilled nursing/assisted living facilities. Not only does he service physical facilities, but he also performs in-home visits to patients who often struggle to obtain routine vision care. In practicing mobile optometry, he has been providing comprehensive visual evaluations and co-management of ocular diseases for the individuals under his care.
